Our Philosophy
At the heart of Pearl, is the Montessori approach to learning.
Developed by Dr Maria Montessori, this philosophy recognises that children learn best when they are given freedom within a carefully prepared environment. Through hands-on materials and purposeful activity, children build independence, concentration and confidence.
At Pearl, Montessori shapes the way we see and respect each child. Educators guide rather than instruct, giving children the time and space to explore, discover and build trust in their own abilities.
Alongside Montessori, Pearl celebrates Jewish culture and values in a way that is welcoming to all families. We honour diversity, respect First Nations cultures and create a community where culture is experienced, shared and lived together.
